Amy Hopwood and Tobias Raven are a Devon-based duo playing original and traditional folk music on tenor guitar, guitar and bass. They create a careful mix of the up-beat, well known and/or humorous alongside delicate and interesting story songs – always with plenty of engagement with the audience, and opportunities for them to join in.
The pre-Covid 2019 was a very busy year for them. Amy released her second album ‘All at Sea’, and they had a great summer playing various folk and literary festivals in the Southwest of England. They were selected to be part of FATEA Magazine’s Showcase Sessions (Autumn 2019) and have been delighted that tracks from “All at Sea” are now regularly being played on Radio Caroline, Blues and Roots Radio, regional BBC radio and specialist folk shows like Acoustic Routes, Forest Folk and Readifolk.
