Cat Florence
Friday Aug 25 @ 7:30 pm The Betjeman Centre, Wadebridge

Cat Florence is a singer and songwriter living in Cornwall on the south west coast of the U.K. Making music from her bedroom, evolving from a young love of grungy guitar riffs, ska punk vocals and electronic music, Cat Florence produces psychedelic dream pop with poetic story-telling lyrics.
Her song writing captures the joyful, mundane and complete darkness that’s tangled up in relationships, addiction, mental health and motherhood, and her production blends fuzz guitar and electronic synths, melodic piano twisted with backwards recording and her distinct layered vocals and harmonies.
Previously performing under the artist name Ciitten, she has performed across the country, including Panda Music Festival in Cornwall on the BBC Introducing Stage, and is regularly featured on BBC Introducing Devon and Cornwall radio show. Following becoming a mother and enduring a difficult time over the pandemic, she relaunched as Cat Florence in the summer of 2021.
